Our dual mission is to connect business people in the Inland Empire and provide educational resources to our members. We are very excited to announce the launch our Professional Seminar Series.
Our ABAIE member Ameriprise is sponsoring this event. We are extremely grateful for their generosity. Continental breakfast will be served. This seminar is free to our ABAIE members as well as the members of the local business community. We will take attendees on a first come, first served basis. We only have 40 seats available. Each person can register up to two more guests with them.

First Speaker Ryan P. Tolan
Ryan focuses primarily on comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and wealth preservation strategies that align with his clients’ objectives. As part of this process, he offers guidance on intergenerational planning, retirement planning strategies, Social Security retirement benefits, estate planning strategies, charitable giving, education savings and more—the range of issues that make up a lifetime of financial needs.
Ryan has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation, as well as the Certified Long-Term Care® certification. He earned a degree in psychology from Duquesne University, where he was a First-Team All-American football player in 2004. Ryan went on to coach the defensive line at Duquesne University before returning to California. Playing and coaching football set the foundational principles for Ryan’s career as a Financial Advisor—he acquired the discipline, preparation and collaboration that Ryan uses to help his clients work toward their goals and aspirations today.

Second Speaker Dalton Sweaney, CPA
Dalton Sweaney, CPA, is Managing Partner at GSA, llp in Claremont, specializing in small business consulting and tax planning. He is currently the President of the CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter, serves on the CalCPA State Board of Directors, is the incoming Chair of the AICPA Young Member Leadership Committee and an Elder at his Church, Life Bible Fellowship in Upland. Dalton has graduated from both the CalCPA Leadership Institute and the prestigious AICPA Leadership Academy. At GSA, llp, Dalton helps lead the team to provide a superior client experience that delivers exceptional end results while maintaining an office atmosphere that cultivates creativity and purpose. Dalton is married and has four young children, ages 7, 7, 4 and 3.

Dino started an internet marketing and consulting company in 2001, which still operates today, and later a catering company and restaurant. In addition, he has obtained valuable knowledge in the financial services, insurance, investment, real estate, and manufacturing industries.
With more than 30 years of experience in business, he helps business owners establish market-dominating positions, and implement proven strategies to grow their companies. Business owners and organizations hire him to work beside them in helping to outperform their competitors and increase their revenue and profits significantly.
Dino loves serving at church and volunteering in non-profit organizations. He is a Captain and former Commander with the Civil Air Patrol, training and developing the youth in leadership and aerospace education.
Fourth Speaker Shelly Torres
Shelly Torres is the Regional Sales Manager at The Platinum Group. She specializes in helping businesses claim their ERTC refund. There is still time to file.
ERTC is part of the Covid Relief Act it was designed to help businesses during 2020 and 2021 keep their employees on payroll. The Employment Retention Credit program provides a significant benefit to businesses by offering tax credit for keeping employees on payroll during challenging times.
This program was designed to support businesses that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic . The tax credit amount can be up to $26,000 per employee, which is a substantial amount of money paid back to the business in the form of a check. The program is especially helpful for small businesses and gives them an opportunity to have additional monies to put back into their company.
